Banks Transitional Living Program Grand Opening

On Saturday, September 26, Spring Lake Ranch celebrated the grand opening of our new transitional living program. Special guests included Bob & Jennifer Banks, who partnered with leadership at the Ranch over many years to bring the project to life, as well as Vermont’s Commissioner of Health Rick Hildebrant, and Rutland District State Senators Brian Collamore and Terry Williams. Chrispin White from the Chamber and Economic Development of the Rutland Region was also in attendance, bringing along his ceremonial giant scissors to make things official with a ribbon-cutting. Neighbors and friends joined in the celebration with delicious Ranch-made snacks and live music from former Ranch staffers Mary Barron and Marcos Levy of Cold River Band.

The Banks Transitional Living Program at Spring Lake Ranch is designed for those needing longer-term, transitional programming with customizable services. Residents maintain their connection to the Ranch community and trusted clinical team, while also building competency in real-world routines—work, education, and personal management. The program is housed in a newly constructed micro-neighborhood on site that includes three residential buildings and a community center.
