Farm activities and interaction with animals are integral components of our Therapeutic Work Program. Through Farm Crew, residents participate in a unique experience that allows them to be outside and build a sense of responsibility and caretaking. Unfortunately, the existing barn and farm structure are dilapidated and insufficient for housing animals. The entire farm operation will be relocated, and new structures will include a clear-span barn, a traditional barn, and a chicken coop. The new farm complex will require additional infrastructure to connect to electricity and our water supply, as well as upgraded road access. The existing barn and surrounding area will be repurposed for much needed storage and parking.
