Billing + Insurance

Billing

Spring Lake Ranch offers robust financial aid that can cover much of the cost of the program. If you are interested in financial aid, please reach out to the Admissions team.

Our standard daily rate is $525 which amounts to $15,750 per 30 days. On the day of admission, we ask for the initial thirty-day fee. This non-refundable payment supports our extensive admissions process. If admission occurs mid-month, we’ll apply a portion of the initial fee to the following month’s billing.

For convenience, payments can be made by credit card, though please note there’s a processing fee for credit card payments.

Billing statements are issued around the 25th each month and cover the upcoming month’s fee along with any expenses from the prior month. Payments are due by the 10th of each month. The first night of a resident’s stay is on us; however, the final day is billed at the standard rate, regardless of departure time. A 1% service charge is added to balances unpaid 45 days after the invoice date.

Our admissions staff is here to discuss any questions and guide you through the financial process to ensure peace of mind.

Medicaid/Medicare:

Medicaid/Medicare does not cover the cost of residential treatment. Residents with out-of-state Medicaid will need to work with us to apply for same in VT so that the costs of medication, medical visits, and lab work can be covered.

Insurance Reimbursement:

Spring Lake Ranch is a private pay facility. We do not participate with or bill to third party payers. Families that need financial assistance are encouraged to apply for Financial Aid.

Financial Aid:

Spring Lake Ranch is pleased to offer two types of financial aid opportunities, covering a portion of cost for residents who need assistance. These access funds are made possible by donor support and proceeds from the sale of Ranch-made products such maple syrup. Click here to read more.
