Spring Lake Ranch launched an $18 million Capital Campaign in February, and we’re so pleased with the response so far. Old friends and new friends alike have stepped up to support our efforts—but we still need $3 million to reach our goal.
Please consider making a gift today! Your contribution will support the addition of the Banks Transitional Living Program at Spring Lake Ranch, a new music room, necessary farm and gym upgrades, and sustainability features.
With the Banks TLP, long-term residents ready for more independence but not quite ready to leave the Ranch will have their own space to learn skills and prepare for a successful future. Read here for more information.
The Farm Program will benefit from a new barn, equipment shed, chicken coop and more. The current buildings are decades old and spread across the acreage. The new space will consolidate the buildings and provide a dedicated spot where residents will care for animals and learn hands-on farming skills.
The gym, constructed in the 1970s, will be a great asset for residents, especially during the colder months. However, it’s in dire need of an upgrade. Renovation will include the addition of a Yoga room and a modern equipment space. This is also where the new music room will be constructed, a space that’s been highly requested by residents.
Finally, our sustainability initiative will add multi-faceted upgrades with three goals: to improve conditions for residents in response to a changing climate; to reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy sources; and to improve our functional and financial sustainability.
