Spring Lake Ranch is proud to announce a new partnership with United Assessment, a leading provider of neuropsychological, psychodiagnostic, and psychoeducational testing. Through this collaboration, residents will now have access to comprehensive psychological assessment services, designed to support accurate diagnosis, deeper insight, and more tailored treatment planning.
United Assessment specializes in high-quality evaluations that integrate cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, personality, and thought process data to build a complete clinical picture. What does that picture provide? For many people, a deeper understanding of their diagnosis can foster peace of mind, self-knowledge, and empowerment. It can provide pathways for connection and belonging, especially in neurodiverse communities. For family members who are experiencing a mental health journey from the outside, assessments can help them better understand and engage with their loved ones. It also helps health care providers, educators, and employers accommodate individuals so that they can thrive at home, school, and work. These assessments are particularly valuable for clients navigating complex diagnoses, treatment planning, or transitions in care. This new partnership aims to enhance the support offered to residents, their families, and the Ranch’s clinical team.
Dr. David Rowe, Executive Director of Neuropsychology at United Assessment, will be directly involved in supporting this partnership. Dr. Rowe holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and an MBA from Yale University. He brings fifteen years of clinical experience and a systems-oriented approach to assessment and collaboration.
“While all individuals are far more than any given diagnosis, the value of a proper diagnosis can’t be overstated,” says Dr. Rowe. “It’s not about labels. It’s about equipping individuals, families, and care teams with the insight and tools they need to help someone move forward. With an accurate diagnosis, individuals can access appropriate interventions, supports, services, and accommodations all tailored to their specific needs, which often leads to improved outcomes and enhances the overall quality of life.”
United Assessment’s results are known for being accessible, actionable, and collaborative, designed not just to describe, but to guide treatment in real time. As part of this partnership, the United Assessment team is working closely with Spring Lake Ranch to ensure assessments are integrated meaningfully into the resident experience.
“Bringing Dr. Rowe and United Assessments into our work is a natural next step for the Ranch,” says Kevin Molloy, Director of Operations and Admissions. “Comprehensive psychological testing helps us better understand each resident’s strengths, challenges, and treatment needs. Dr. Rowe’s experience and his ability to move quickly with clear, practical recommendations will allow us to tailor our care even more effectively. Ultimately, this partnership strengthens our ability to help residents stabilize, grow, and build meaningful lives.“
We’re excited to offer these new clinical insights and collaborative approach to our Ranch community. To learn more about assessment services at Spring Lake Ranch, reach out to Kevin Molloy.
