Collaboration

Let us collaborate with you to find the best treatment solution for your patient or client with mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.

The Spring Lake Ranch programs in two locations provide a fully integrated continuum of care including residential treatment and community-based services and support.

We partner extensively on a referral basis with psychiatric and medical providers at local and national levels, working collaboratively to determine the most effective course of treatment for each individual and their family.

Helpful Information:

We can help if your client or patient meets the following three criteria:

  1. 18 years or older, and
  2. Willing to take prescribed medication, and
  3. Struggles with one or several of the following:
  • Depression (with or without psychosis)
  • Anxiety
  • Bi-polar (with or without psychosis)
  • Mood disorder with psychotic features
  • Schizoaffective
  • Schizophrenia
  • Schizotypal Personality Disorder
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Failure to Launch
  • Personality disorders so long as not primary

Checklist for Providers

Spring Lake Ranch offers:

  • Efficient review of referral “fit” by a dedicated admissions team on call 7 days a week
  • Further stabilization, education and skills building
  • Fine tuning of medication in a real-life setting, with real life expectations and daily structure
  • Medication administration and secured med room
  • Suboxone and other narcotics permitted when psychiatrically appropriate
  • Psychiatry weekly with 24/7 on call for emergencies
  • Onsite therapists and therapy between 1 and 3x/week as well as group therapy.
  • Clean and sober campus with ample supports for dual diagnosis
  • In-depth understanding of psychosis, mood disorders and learning differences
  • An effective alternative for clients who prefer or need to move and “do” vs. sit in traditional talking groups
  • Idyllic natural restorative setting
  • A community where residents can connect to be part of something greater than themselves and their illness
  • Ideas for alternative placement when there’s not a good fit in either of our two locations.
