Sustainability

Capital Campaign 2024-2026

The Ranch has a deep connection with traditional work techniques, a love of energizing labor, and plenty of space for contemplation. These attributes are maintained as we keep our hands in the dirt, our feet on the trails, and our minds quiet.

At the same time, as we move further into the 21st Century, it’s impossible to avoid certain upgrades that impact our operations, our property, and the health of our planet.

We are working with consultants to design affordable and sustainable systems across the Ranch. Based on expert feedback, we will choose which projects provide the most impact environmentally, within our budget.

Discussed improvements include heat pumps for cooling resident buildings, EV charging stations, possible use of solar energy, and our own fiberoptic Intranet that will save the Ranch thousands of dollars each year.
